  Gaby was one of the better hosts we've interacted with, always responding to our various questions quickly. The condo was as pictured, super clean and better stocked than most places.... read more La Amada complex is hidden gem for those who want the same weather, beach, and security of the AI resorts next door, but w/o their price. The plentiful beach loungers were cushioned- which you'd have to pay extra for at the resorts next door. The beach club pool beds were great. The secret was the rooftop heated pool / jacuzzi of the condo building, usually empty (no food or drinks up there), but super easy access from the room. Nothing was ever crowded, unlike resorts. The restaurant got the job done for late breakfast, lunch or early dinner... and the café / market in the front bldg had more than we expected. Jungle facing rooms also means road noise, esp in the AM, bring earplugs. 5 min walk to beach was fine for us, so a great value. Didn't rent a car- just shuttled to/from as arranged by Gaby. EASY!
